About

Norwegian singer-songwriter Unnveig Aas (b. 1990) has over the last couple of years sung her way into the hearts of many with her striking voice and distinctive musical style. When Unnveig sings she reveals a unique capability to convey feelings that seems to come from a place of real solitude.

Her music is filled with contrasts. It is quiet and enclosed, but also at times catchy and bittersweet. With inspiration from country, pop, classic rock and folk she experiments with open guitar tunings and synth-like steel guitar, creating a sound that stands out in the Norwegian music scene.

Her second album “Young Heart” was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy (Spellemann).
